Enhance your vehicle with added gloss and protection
What is a Ceramic Coating?
Once upon a time, paste wax was the preferred choice for enhancing your vehicle’s shine and protecting it from rain, bird droppings, dirt, and more.
Fast forward two decades, and scientists in labs have revolutionized vehicle protection with ceramic coatings. Unlike traditional wax, ceramic coatings provide a superior, semi-permanent liquid layer that bonds directly to your vehicle's surface.
Unlike the "wax-on, wax-off" method of Mr. Miyagi, ceramic coating offers a durable, sacrificial layer that absorbs elements like rain, dirt, and snow, safeguarding the paint underneath.
To put it in perspective: wax is like a tent sheltering you in a forest, while ceramic coating is akin to a sturdy brick house. Both offer protection from rain and dust, but each provides distinctly different levels of security.
Benefits of a Ceramic Coating
Many coating companies make bold claims about their products' capabilities. While some of these claims are valid, I prefer not to oversell.
Here are the actual benefits of our coatings:
👍🏽 Provides durable protection lasting 3 to 6 years
👍🏽 One-time application—no need for quarterly reapplications
👍🏽 Creates unmatched gloss compared to wax or sealants
👍🏽 Offers superior hydrophobic properties for cleaner, easier washing
👍🏽 Can be applied on paint, glass, wheels, vinyl film, and paint protection film
Before application, proper vehicle preparation and correction are essential. Skipping this step means missing out on the full benefits.
This is where a professional ceramic coating installer makes a difference. Improper installation can lead to smudges and 'high spots' that become visible when the coating dries incorrectly.
Common Myths About Ceramic Coatings
While ceramic coatings offer impressive durability, they don’t grant you a license to neglect your vehicle. It’s important to understand their limitations. Many customers mistakenly expect complete protection and are disappointed by swirls or etches in their paintwork.
The coating does not make your paint scratch-proof. It can resist light swirls and scratches that occur during proper washing or drying. However, dragging a dry, dirty wash mitt or your hand across the paint will still cause scratches.
Ceramic coatings also do not protect against rock chips. For that, paint protection film (PPF) is the recommended solution. No coating—whether wax or ceramic—can prevent the impact of rocks hitting your vehicle.
Regular maintenance is essential to preserving the durability of the coating. Like anything else, neglect will accelerate degradation. Proper washing, drying, and periodic boosting are necessary. A coating designed for 6 years can degrade by year 3 without proper care.

Ceramic Coating FAQs
Is ceramic coating the optimal paint protection solution for my vehicle?
While ceramic coatings provide excellent protection and shine, for the ultimate defense, consider paint protection film (PPF). PPF adds an 8-mil layer that withstands debris better than any ceramic coating.
Can I wash my car after ceramic coating?
After application, avoid wetting your vehicle for the first 48 hours to ensure full curing. We recommend refraining from washing for the initial two weeks. Your first wash post-coating is complimentary to assess its effectiveness.
Can ceramic coating replace my clear coat?
If your paint shows signs of chipping or fading from clear coat failure, repainting is the only solution. Ceramic coating cannot resolve these issues.
Can I skip prep and paint correction before coating?
Proper preparation and paint correction are essential before applying coatings. Skipping this step means missing out on the full benefits of ceramic coating.
